WHAT WENT WRONG WITH HARAMBEE STARS!!!

You will agree with me that Kenya has a super national team which is never serious with big matches. At the start of the game you could see the craziest Kenyans expressing their joy and predicting how the stars would beat the eagles. Whatever results came sent me asleep until now. The stars played well possessing the ball throughout the game and showing great confidence in their dribbling styles. I was happy with the rigid midfield coordinated by Victor Mugubi Wanyama which made the game enjoyable. They from time to time terrorized the Nigerian midfield and ruled throughout the match. The team lack good finishing players where Kahata showed the fear he had to attack vigorously giving the Nigerian defense amble time to plan their play. This resulted to a 1-0 defeat which sent the stars tailing in the group. With all the promises they had received from governmental officials, they failed to secure a win. What an embarrassment from our national team! We were all there to cheer you up and even the deputy president of the state attended the match. Surely, our coaches should do something about the team because we cannot withstand embarrassment any more. why don't you travel even to the interior of the country to get the good players which are flooded all over? Should those who make up the team come from specific areas of the country or even from our neighboring country? Think big and react positively to my report to give our country the respect it deserves. We can see our athletes and the rugby team making us proud, why not you footballers? Think about that.

The Thirsty Gor Mahia

It has been another busy season for Gor Mahia fans. The club's head coach Zdravko Logarusic has had a hard time trying to explain the goal drought at the club. It is unfortunate that for the last five matches in all competitions they have won once securing only two goals. Now the fans have been engaged in talks discussing the fate of the club. The fans seem to be playing the hardest task in the club even than the players and the coaches who are ever in the field practicing. They keep an open eye to all matters of the club. Recently they were showing their dissatisfaction with the coach's pay and now they are questioning the officials on the actions they are taking to improve performance of the club.

Great Footballers in Kenya

Kenya is one of the countries with best footballers in the world. Some of them make to the top clubs while others remain unnoticed until they despair and stop practicing. This is how many talents get spoiled in the country. The responsibility to manage many sport centers is granted to individuals who have got no interest in the sport. They consider it as a job instead of helping the young talents to make it to the top positions. They drop many good footballers and add others in the team who are not as good as the dropped ones for the sake of money. We have lost hope in many of our local coaches and imported expertise from other countries which is costing us dearly. It is not that the coaches we have cannot do what the foreign ones do, only that we have lost hope in them. Tribalism in the football sector is consuming the country down in the international soccer ranking. I thank the government for having the plan to sponsor football academies since it was so expensive to join one before. They will provide a good chance for coaches to select players and even send some of the players who are not performing well in the national team to the academies. I say big up to our government and please try hard to clear the tribalism and corruption in the sector. I have big dreams for my country.

Genius Kenyan Footballers

It is a total disbelieve how the Kenyan National Football Team is being challenged by other teams at very low stages baring in mind that the country has got Millions of potential talents which have not been exploited yet! Am sure that if the Country considers starting public and well managed football training centres, we can build a marvelous team to challenge even strongest teams of the world.

I have a problem with the officials who have been assigned the duty of going round the counrty and getting talented players to join the big football clubs of the country. These people never attend low level games but wait until there is a big tornament to start selecting the talented players. It is a very big mistake and that's why they assemble a hope-giving team from the same same people we see on the television play almost every match and at the end they bring home embarassment after they play even a friendly match.

I beg these officials to trust me for once that the best footballers in Kenya have not been discovered yet and you have the duty to go even to the remote areas of the country to look for them. This way we are going to have a very strong team.
